Hi I’m Emily Juliet and I’m an Artist.

Born and raised in Cheltenham, it was always my dream to be an artist one day. I moved to Cornwall in 2015 to study Fine Art at Falmouth University, which really showed me I could make a career of this, and it is what I should be doing. I specialised in drawing and painting, focusing on simple line work and imagery of plants and objects. I also made work with text and lettering, working from tiny sketches to large scale installations.

After my studies I moved to Bristol, drawn by the amazing culture of art, food and creativity. During the Covid-19 Lockdown in the summer of 2020 I curated my biggest ever show in the windows of closed businesses across the city, showcasing work by local artists. The project was called Can I Use Your Window? and was a huge success, I got to work with some amazing artists, businesses and even got interviewed on BBC radio.

Alongside my studies and early years of my career, I’ve always worked in restaurants, cafes and bars. Regularly doing signage and A boards. This combined with working on windows during my 2020 exhibition, really made me fall in love with the idea of collaborating with the amazing small and independent businesses of Bristol and applying my drawing skills to this new medium.

In spring 2023, I relocated my business to London.
